Somebody Made That

My Mom would often remind us 3 kids that people hand make things with love & care as to remind us of the importance of taking care of belongings. I think she also reminded us of this not because my Mom makes a lot of things but mainly because my brothers growing up were two of the most rowdy kids in our neighborhood. It didn't matter if it was on purpose or by accident, they broke EVERYTHING. I'm recalling more than one time getting shoes flung at my forehead because I happened to be well, standing in the same room. Whether it be a hole in the wall or a busted shelf, a dart gun being shot at my stuffed animals or anything I cared about, my brother Josh would jokingly say, "This is why we can't have nice things" or "Somebody made that." He would repeat "Somebody made that" in high pitch voice to a ridiculous point that even years later I still get this statement stuck in my head today. Anyway, hopefully I'll post more pictures of homemade jewelry and possibly some clothing alterations I've been working on.

PS- Josh, there's a cheesesteak with your name on it waiting for you at home.
